1. Damaged Insulations

Looking at the diagram, what can you see?














If this outer insulation becomes frayed or damaged due to heat or excessive wear and tear, a live wire can pose an electrical shock or fire hazard.


2. Overloaded Circuits

When there are too many plugs inserted into a particular power socket, a large amount of current will be drawn out from the power socket.
Each wire has a limitation to the amount of current that it can take.
